Opening Hours

Note that opening hours may sometimes change at short notice. If travelling to visit a library you are advised to check with the library to confirm details.

Term time:	Weeks 0 and 9 Mon-Fri, 8.45-18.30; Weeks 1-8 Mon-Thur, 8.45-20.00; Friday, 8.45-18.30; Sat, 10.00-13.00
Vacation:	Christmas and Easter Vacation Mon-Fri 8.45-13.00 and 14.00-17.30; Summer Vacation Mon-Fri 8.45-16.30 (until 18.00 Mon, Tue, Thur, for the duration of the Pre- Sessional English course in August and September)
Closed:	10 days at Christmas, 6/7 days at Easter (31 March till 9 April 2012) August Bank Holiday
Notes:	Induction session (required for all new Library users) held Mon-Fri at 10.00 and 14.00 or other times by prior arrangement.

OU undergraduate students:	Admissions: all. Borrowing: some No borrowing apart from CINECLUB or LAMBDA project (£30 a year subscriptions).Valid University Card and/or letter from departmental administrator required at registration. Induction session (required for all new Library users) held Mon-Fri at 10.00 and 14.00 or other times by prior arrangement.
OU postgraduate students:	Admissions: all. Language learning materials in about 140 languages, in print, audio/video and Computer Aided Language Learning (CALL) formats; video materials including language learning, films and documentaries(English and foreign languages) Some of the collection as well as new acquisitions, is presented in the Library blog http://languagelibraryatoxford.blogspot.com/ All new material is catalogued on OLIS.
